Step 4: Communicate with Freight Forwarders or Customs Brokers

  1. Use Piver’s built-in messaging system to contact the freight forwarder or customs broker handling your shipment:

    • Navigate to the Consignment or Import Packet details and click “Message” to start a conversation.
    • Ask for updates, clarify delivery details, or address any concerns (e.g., delays or documentation issues).
  2. Messages are secure and stored within the Piver platform for easy reference.

  3. Respond promptly to any requests from freight forwarders or customs brokers, such as providing additional documentation for customs clearance.
